About the Rubrix Brand Owner and Creator, Ruben Gonzales
"I've always been intrigued by how things function, and as a child, I would spend countless hours disassembling and reconstructing my toys just to understand their mechanics. This innate curiosity eventually led me to the world of RC racing. My first visit to a local track in Zaragoza, Spain, was a pivotal moment that completely captivated me. By 1992, I was competing in the 2WD class with my reliable MRC Santana, and by 1994, I switched to the 4WD category with a Kyosho Lazer MK2. After a 26-year hiatus from the hobby, I felt a strong urge to dive back in. Soon I found myself restoring replicas of World winning Yokomo YZ10 models from the 1990s. These projects were a true labor of love that reignited my creative energy. A spark that later inspired the vision behind Rubrix Racing Products. Today, I take great pride in channeling that same passion and expertise into the RRP brand, collaborating with like-minded individuals to create products that honor the rich legacy and vibrant community of RC racing."
