In May 2023, Rubrix Racing Products embarked on a journey to reproduce the last worlds winning 4WD buggy at the hands of Maasaki Hirosaka, the Yokomo MX4 97’ worlds prototype. The secret weapon designed and engineered by the man himself. A car far from the MX4 box kit that Yokomo released to the public in early 1998. For the project, RRP used 1 of 50 / 97’ worlds MX4 chassis replicas built by Maasaki, which were only made available in Japan back then, for 150,000 YEN.
